Health and Safety

Wiping down of equipment

All persons are to wipe down equipment after use. Sanitising wipes will be provided. We use biodegradable, hypoallergenic, antibacterial wetwipes.

Wearing grippy socks

All persons are to wear grippy Pilates socks for both hygienic and safety purposes. Grippy socks are available for purchase or you may bring your own in.   

Support from Reformer instructors

All our instructors are highly trained with training in First Aid and CPR too. If an instructors gives you a recommendation, please see that they have your best interest at heart and their guidance is there to support you in training well and preventing injuries. 

Liability

Active Flow and those acting on our behalf accept no liability for any loss, damages, or expenses of any kind, including, without limitation, loss of or damage to property, or claims by third parties howsoever arising in connection with your participation in reformer classes or community runs and events.

This exclusion of liability shall not apply to damages arising from death, personal injury, or damage to property, caused by the negligence of Active Flow or any of its employees, agents or volunteers, or to any other liability we cannot exclude by law.

Active Flow welcomes people of all abilities, however, by agreeing to these rules, you accept that you do so entirely at your own risk and that it is your responsibility to ensure that you, or those you are responsible for, are fit and able to take part in Active flow Reformer classes or community runs and events.

Please ensure, where appropriate, that you take medical advice before participating in any Active Flow classes, runs or events.

Conduct

At all times you must be mindful of your actions and the impact it can have on others, remembering that there are families, children and vulnerable adults attending our classes, runs and events. Where we deem behaviour to not be appropriate for an event of this nature, we reserve the right to take all action necessary to safeguard those in attendance.

By registering and/or participating with Active Flow Classes, runs or events, you shall be deemed to accept that you also agree to follow our rules and guidelines.

If you volunteer for our community run you must follow any additional rules and guidance provided, in addition to complying with any local laws.

Should Active Flow be notified, and it be proven to our satisfaction, that you have participated at Active Flow Classes, runs and/or events in a way that is not in accordance with Active Flow rules and/or guidelines, and/or that you have carried out actions/activities in any location that places Active Flow at risk or into disrepute, then Active Flow will take any action we deem reasonable and appropriate which can include up to relinquishing your duties from roles of responsibility within Active Flow, deletion of your Active Flow profile and banning from attending and/or participating at any or all Active Flow Classes, runs and/or events.

Cancellation Policy

12 hour cancellation policy

Our 12 hour cancellation policy is there to ensure that clients are able to book and attend classes in a timely manner and so that the studio can function optimally.

All cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class starts or the class credit will be lost.

This information we collect from you is used to provide you with the best possible service.

Please note that if at any time Active Flow Pilates is required by law to release information about you, Active Flow Pilates must cooperate fully.

 

This Privacy Policy may be revised and amended. This Privacy Policy represents the latest version of Active Flow Pilates Privacy Policy.

Storage and security of your information

You may provide basic contact information such as your name, phone number, address, and email address to enable us to send information or process your product order and we may also collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback, change your content or email preferences, respond to a survey, or communicate with our customer support.

 

We may use personal information collected from you for the purpose of providing you with direct marketing material, updates regarding our website and information in the form of a newsletter. This will only apply if you have registered or subscribed to such publications by registering your details with us. However if you wish to cease receiving any such information you may let us know either by email or unsubscribing at any time and your request will be actioned immediately.

 

Individual profile and company details are not used for any other purpose. Details are only supplied to a third party supplier when it is required by law, for goods or services which you have purchased or to protect our copyright, trademarks and other legal rights.

 

We respect the privacy of our online visitors. We may collect information on or through this website that can personally identify you. For example, we collect personally identifiable information which you volunteer to us to respond to visitor questions and comments about us and our products and services, and to mail e-newsletters (“Personal Data”).

We will not knowingly share any of your Personal Data with any third party other than our service providers who assist us in providing the information and/or services we are providing to you.
